Kiva micro-loans to 24 different groups or persons from 18 different countries
ROOTS Youth Shelter, fed the group a meal
Nicholsville Encampment, UCUCC, fed the group a meal
YWCA, downtown women’s shelter, fed the group a meal
Winning Health Care for All, public forum, Greenwood Senior Center
2009 Earth Day, worked on Burke Gilman Trail

In the Beginning . . .

It all began on a cold night in December--December 12, 2008, when a hardy group of Obama supporters gathered in the home of Chuck and Lori Dye. Most were strangers to each other, but all had the common purpose of wanting to help promote the change that was on the way. The economy, health care reform, education, the environment, global warming, civil rights, were all concerns. And the President Elect had called us to community service. . . .
